Values:
As a team, we have identified our key values as a team, to which we then developed our team identity around. These core values are: innovation, open-mindedness, communication and change.
These core values make strong foundations that we aspire to build our team around, letting us go into the competition with a strong mindset. Through the design of our car and the principles used in our brand, we plan to push past previous expectations and innovate in the F1 competition. We will create positive change progression through this competition at our highest standard. Of course, to innovate and make positive change in this creative, competitive space, we will need to keep an open-mind, this being for when we look at new methods in expanding our ability and general repertoire. Finally, in a team environment, communication between team members is key. We understand that exemplary communication is a necessity to achieve success in the F1 in Schools competition.
Goals:
We have three main objectives as a team:
- First and foremost, our most ambitious goal is to follow in the footsteps of our Australian and Newington predecessors. In the long run, we want to achieve a place on the Formula 1 in Schools World's stage.
- Secondly, we want to learn lots from this experience. Whether it be teamwork, communication, resilience, hard work etc, we want to take something important out of this and use what we have gathered to be more diligent people and be the best versions of ourselves.
- Finally, we want to create a lasting legacy at our school to be known by. Just like the previous World Finals participants from our school, we want to be remembered for what we have accomplished.
