Last year in 2020, COVID-19 changed the game of F1. Usually, the competition is held physically at a venue. It lasts for a few days, with teams competing against each other, racing their cars on the track with a crowd, and showcasing their project's work through their booth display. But this year, that all changed. The physical competition was scraped entirely, and everything moved electronic. Instead of racing cars against each team, the cars had to be manufactured, then sent away to be raced against the other cars, without any teams present. Instead of creating a physical booth display, CAD files of the virtual design were uploaded to a submission point, along with the portfolios, and countless renders of the car.
Even in this different format, Aeolus Racing persevered, creating new innovations that stood us out against the rest of the teams. It was a very hard year for all, but I must say that everyone in the team put in 120% of their effort to keep pushing through, to following our passion in STEM.
